I am so excited to be teaching your wonderful scholars this school year. I love math and sharing the fact that I will be with your children 35 hours a week is a blessing for me to be a part of. However, I feel it is important for not only the students to get to know me, but for the parents to get a feel for who I am as well.
I have posted some pictures of my absolute favorite things in this world. 1) My Husband 2) My son Bryant 3) The ocean 4) Soccer 5) The Snow |

Our son Bryant was born just the 3/2/17. He joined his other two siblings Gerdy, our brown boxer and Booby our black boxer to make our little family complete. They love licking his face and every time I turn my back, one of them has placed a toy on his lap. They still haven't understood that he's not old enough to play with them :)

I was not born in Billings and have only lived here for college and my 5 years of teaching. I was born and raised in Oceanside, California which is in San Diego county. I would be lying if I said I did not miss the beach and living close to all my family and friends, however, I LOVE BILLINGS and the small town feel it has. The picture to the left is my husband Isaiah and the star fish we rescued then released back into the Pacific Ocean. Yah for sea life and the interesting, weird, yet beauty it gives to us.

The most frequent question I get is "Why did you move to Montana from California?". The pictures above explains it all:) I was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to play soccer at MSUB. I learned so many life lessons playing soccer and I would not take back any 5am practices for anything. Since graduating in 2012 I have still stayed active with playing in tournaments to keep my A game alive :) The picture on the right was the Rocky Mountain College cup that my team of "has beens" won!. Another reason why I love Billings are the seasons. I cannot wait for the first snow to fall and to break out my hot cocoa machine for the kids.
I hope you were able to learn a bit more about me and like I said before, this year is going to be fantastic! |
